MEET BRIDECHILLA ROSE

London based Bridechilla Rose is marrying Richard. Richard proposed in April this year in Madrid.
They're 4 months into their wedding planning now but Rose says that she's already pretty 'super-duper organised'.

WHEN ARE YOU GETTING HITCHED?

October 2017

ANY WEDDING DEAL BREAKERS AND NON-NEGOTIABLES?

We really want the day to feel personal to us! We wanted it to be our day, and celebrate us as a couple.

ANY TRUTH BOMBS AFTER GETTING ENGAGED?

I'm absolutely LOVING it. I didn't think I would quite as much... although actually I am hating all the wedding maths! I haven't done maths since i was at college and really do not miss it!

ARE YOU HIRING A WEDDING PLANNER OR COORDINATOR?

Nope...to be honest we didn't really decide this, it just naturally happened! I'm super duper organised anyway, and I love to plan, it just felt natural for me to do it this way. We have someone to help at our venue's on day, but Richard and I are doing everything else!

WHO IS YOUR FAVOURITE WEDDING SUPPLIER SO FAR?

Our venue actually! Brunswick house and Peckham Asylum!

BEST WEDDING HACK?

We haven't really got to this yet, but being strong minded on the budget has helped a lot so far. I hate trying to get a price down, but it's paid off so far! Also, my bridal planner has been brilliant!

WHAT IS THE BEST BRIDECHILLA ADVICE THAT HAS REALLY HELPED YOU OUT DURING YOUR WEDDING PLANNING?

Still going! But probably just to chill out a bit more generally, to look after ourselves and not feel too pressured by pinterest etc...

HAVE THERE BEEN ANY ISSUES THAT HAVE AFFECTED YOUR RELATIONSHIP DURING YOUR WEDDING PLANNING JOURNEY?

Not so far! Nothing a good cider can't fix!
But we're only at the beginning so will keep you updated if that changes!

BEST BOOK YOU'VE READ THIS YEAR?

The Versions of Us - by Laura Barnett

In one moment, two lives will be changed forever . . . and forever . . . and forever.
The one thing that’s certain is they met on a Cambridge street by chance and felt a connection that would last a lifetime. But as for what happened next . . . They fell wildly in love, or went their separate ways. They kissed, or they thought better of it. They married soon after, or were together for a few weeks before splitting up. They grew distracted and disappointed with their daily lives together, or found solace together only after hard years spent apart.
