MEET BRIDECHILLA JENN
Jenn's lucky groom to be is Art (short for Artem, short for Artemis - he's part Greek). They're based in London and getting married in Italy, just outside Florence next July. Jenn says that originally they had a venue booked in the Cotswolds, which became too expensive, so instead they found two venues on Air BnB, booked flights three days later and now they have a beautiful villa and are planning an amazing outdoor ceremony in the garden, with pool party in the evening! Terrific!
As a Bridechilla Blogger, Jenn's looking forward to blogging about choosing a wedding dress -
'I somehow ended up with four (long story, I'm working on selling them). Planning a destination wedding. How to stay sane when planning a wedding. Be aware of your spidey sense tingling and choose your vendors carefully.'
WHEN ARE YOU GETTING HITCHED?
ANY WEDDING DEAL BREAKERS AND NON-NEGOTIABLES?
Only you and your spousechilla will remember the date of your upcoming wedding. One of my bridesmaids had no idea despite being told several times, so send out those save the dates.
No one will be as excited for your wedding as you are.
ANY TRUTH BOMBS AFTER GETTING ENGAGED?
I'm absolutely LOVING it. I didn't think I would quite as much... although actually i am hating all the wedding maths! I haven't done maths since i was at college and really do not miss it!
WHAT ARE YOUR BIGGEST WEDDING STRESSES SO FAR?
Staying on budget - hence the dramatic change of venue (from a booked barn wedding in the Cotswolds to a villa in Tuscany).
ARE YOU HIRING A WEDDING PLANNER OR COORDINATOR?
Yes. Getting married in Tuscany so we need all the help we can get. Absolutely lovely and totally on the ball Lucy White & her Italian counterpart Danielle Wiskow.
WHO IS YOUR FAVOURITE WEDDING SUPPLIER SO FAR?
It's a toss up between our photographer Warren of Howell Jones photography and our wedding planners.
BEST WEDDING HACK?
Find your venue on airbnb!
We found our gorgeous Italian villa via airbnb and are staying there with 14 of our closest friends and family for the week of the wedding (with an after party chill out by the pool the next day).
WHAT IS THE BEST BRIDECHILLA ADVICE THAT HAS REALLY HELPED YOU OUT DURING YOUR WEDDING PLANNING?

Ask for help when you need it; people want to be involved.
HAVE THERE BEEN ANY ISSUES THAT HAVE AFFECTED YOUR RELATIONSHIP DURING YOUR WEDDING PLANNING JOURNEY?
Sharing planning tasks. I'm more into planning than he is as I've never project managed before (whilst he has) and I'm enjoying the novelty of it. But I feel that I'm doing the bulk of the leg work and that leads to arguments. So we've agreed on him creating our animated e-invites and our wedding website and I will liaise with the planner and choose the vendors as I'm not so technical as he is.
BEST BOOK YOU'VE READ THIS YEAR?
HABITS ARE THE INVISIBLE ARCHITECTURE OF EVERYDAY LIFE.
Most of us have a habit we'd like to change, and there's no shortage of expert advice. But as we all know from tough experience, no magic, one-size-fits-all solution for everything from weight loss to personal organisation exists.
Rubin reveals the true secret to habit change: first, we must know ourselves. When we shape our habits to suit ourselves, we can find success- even if we've failed before.Whether you want to eat more healthfully, stop checking devices, or finish a project, the invaluable ideas in Better Than Before will start you working on your own habits - even before you've finished the book.
