ONCE UPON A TIME
It was 2008, when Kate was offered a dream job at the Happiest Place on Earth, as a PhotoPass Photographer at Disneyland! She had very little experience with cameras and barely any knowledge of photography at the time, but she knew another opportunity like this may never come along again. So she packed her bags, drove across the country, and started working for Mickey Mouse. She got to spend five enchanting years at the Magic Kingdom photographing once-in-a-lifetime moments for guests from all over the world. Now, using a secret stash of pixie dust, Kate creatively captures your personal fairytale with beautiful, colorful digital memories you will treasure for years to come.
Kate is an alternative wedding and portrait photographer based in Brooklyn. She’s an Aries and a first born, loves adventuring in NYC with her fiancée, and is always down for happy hour. She’s usually wearing all black with a pair of boots or a brightly colored dress (probably still with a pair of boots). She has a lot of quirky interests, (like being a huge Barbara Streisand fan), is an INFP personality type, and can turn her frown upside down with a swipe of red lipstick.
Kate’s candid, vibrant, and genuine photography style specializes in documenting the passionate and personal moments between creatively colorful couples. She believes in celebrating love in every form it takes with gorgeous imagery and representation for everyone. All couples deserve a wedding that is badass, beautiful, and fun.
LET’S WORK TOGETHER
If you’re interested in talking with Kate about your wedding day, send her an email with the details of your day & what kind of music you like so we can become friends! As both a wedding photographer and a bride currently planning her own wedding, she totally gets how stressful it can be. With an education in event management and marketing, she aims to make sure everything is a piece of Funfetti cake, from now until you’re married! While she lives in NYC, she also frequently visits and photographs in Austin, New England, and Southern California.
